Our story

Hi, we're Capy Brew.

A small, independent coffee project — started by someone who cared a little too much about how their morning cup turned out.

"

Capy Brew started as a side-of-the-desk project, driven by a simple want: coffee gear that feels considered without feeling precious. Things that work the same on a kitchen counter as they do in a carry-on.

We're based in Europe and, for now, we're building one product at a time — designing, testing, and shipping slowly. The capybara, if you're wondering, is the world's chillest rodent. Famously fond of warm water. A fitting mascot for unhurried mornings.

If you found us through Amazon — hello, welcome. This page is just so you know there's a person on the other end.

Why it's different

Seven reasons the
coffee tastes better.

We'd rather show you than tell you. Each of these came out of a real morning, a real problem, and a lot of iterating.

< 35 dB
Silent by design

Grind a cup without waking the house.

No motor, no roar. The kind of morning where the loudest thing is the kettle. Roommates, partners, and light sleepers welcome.

Ceramic burrs

Built to last thousands of cups.

Cooler than steel, so the grounds keep their aroma. No electronics to fail.

8 grind settings

Espresso fine to French press coarse.

Audible clicks, repeatable size. Dial it once, remember it forever.

Travel-ready

Folds flat. Fits a carry-on. Works anywhere.

Camping, hotels, train rides, that one friend's place with the suspicious kettle — your coffee routine goes with you. No outlets required.

Roomy chamber

Two cups in one go.

30 g capacity — glass-clear so you can see when to stop. No wasted beans, no guesswork.

The ritual

Turns a task into a minute worth having.

The act of grinding by hand is a small meditation. A few quiet minutes before the day gets loud.

Built to last

A grinder, not a gadget.

Stainless steel body, replaceable burrs, no electronics to die on you. Meant for a decade of mornings.

Moka pot, done right

The stovetop classic, minus the bitterness. The trick, honestly, is cold water and low heat — not mysticism.

Coffee on the road

A hand grinder, an Aeropress, a kettle borrowed from a hotel lobby. Here's how we still make it count.
